    What: The Armed Services YMCA of El Paso is one of the oldest non-profit organizations in El Paso that is solely devoted to helping military personnel and their families by providing innovative and quality social, educational, and recreational programs. The ASYMCA is committed to promoting its goals of strengthening military families, supporting healthy lifestyles, reducing isolation and assisting service members and their families in connecting to their community.

    What: The mission of CASA of El Paso is to train and support volunteers from the community to advocate for abused and neglected children who need representation in the family court system, striving to provide them a safe and permanent home. Our vision is to serve 100% of the abused and neglected children in foster care in El Paso County.

  • Center Against Sexual and Family Violence

    What: Confronts and prevents domestic violence and sexual assault in all forms to advocate for safety and justice through intervention, education and community collaborationfor these most vulnerable individuals in our community.   • Ciudad Nueva

    What: The mission of Ciudad Nueva is to embody the gospel of Jesus Christ by advancing the renewal and development of central El Paso’s Rio Grande community through the empowerment and transformation of its residents. Currently we are focused on: supporting families, empowering youth, strengthening community, and equipping leaders. We are pleased to launch our Small Business Incubator and Microloan Program.

  • El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank

    What: El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank is the regional food bank for El Paso, Hudspeth and Culberson counties. EPFH collects, inspects and distributes food needed by many local food pantries.

    Volunteer: Processing donated food for redistribution.

  • Grief Support El Paso

    What: Grief Support El Paso offers compassion, comfort, and hope for the journey of grief. Although grief is a universal  emotion, the journey to acceptance is a deeply personal one. Grief Support of El  Paso holds monthly  meetings for persons who are grieving  the loss of a family member or friend.  Come to be strengthened by inspiration, connection, food, and conversations with others who understand.  People of all beliefs and all walks of life are welcome.

    When:     Gatherings are on the second Wednesday of each month from noon to 1 pm.

    Where: First Presbyterian Church  1340 Murchison. There are no fees or charges, but donations are welcome. 

  • Kelly Center for Hunger Relief

    What: Kelly Memorial Food Pantry is a community providing food to families in El Paso who are struggling to make ends meet.

    What: We are a front-line, hands-on Christian ministry located in Alabama’s most dangerous neighborhood. Our goal is to build genuine individual relationships, one at a time where Christ can be shared through word and deed.

    What: Through the support of LIMBS International, your help funds a rehabilitation program in Poza Rica, Mexico. LIMBS is still as committed as ever to restore mobility in need. We provide affordable prosthetic systems to those in need.

  • Mustard Seed

    What: Exists to: 1) Feed hungry people and care for their hearts, 2) Be a genuine expression of the love of God in Jesus Christ, 3) Introduce people to Jesus Christ so that they may come to saving faith in him. Our focus is a warm welcome and the gift of a tasty meal. The lunch we serve offers hope and encouragement to people who need both. Some of the people we serve are seniors and part of these are homeless.

  • The Opportunity Center for the Homeless

    What: The Opportunity Center for the Homeless serves the homeless of El Paso through six homeless shelters, a transitional living center for Veterans, the migrant farmworker center, and four housing programs.

    Volunteer: There are opportunities for feeding, advocacy, community building, mentoring and many other ways to serve through various programs.

  • Project Arriba

    Project ARRIBA is a workforce training model and economic development initiative that connects participants to the opportunities, mentorship, and financial support they need to pursue or complete their education and start an in-demand career to support their family with a sustainable, living wage. More often than not, these individuals qualify as: * low-income * minority * first-gen college student * single parent * veteran *unemployed / underemployed

    Project Arriba coordinates support and resources for each participant — such as tuition assistance, exam fees, or childcare — to fit their needs and goals. When participants complete their education, Project Arriba places them in a position that aligns with their goals and skills and continues checking in for the first year to ensure job retention.

  • Project Vida

    What: Project Vida provides a multitude of programs and services that serve and walk with the community in the development of its own vision of its future.

    Volunteer: Opportunities vary as wide as the programs and services that are provided by Project Vida--from mentoring children and families to volunteering with their health clinic to new projects like their micro-loan program.

  • St. Vincent de Paul Society

    What: The Society of St. Vincent de Paul in El Paso and Juarez run a number of feeding and education programs on both sides of the border.

    Volunteer: Food pantry work, fundraising, advocacy and other opportunities.

  • Siguiendo Los Pasos de Jesus

    What: Siguiendo de Los Pasos de Jesus (SPJ) is based in a community in the south-west side of Juarez that organizes its own community to build safe housing, promote community businesses and advocate for needed infrastructure.

    Volunteer: Construction, translators, playing with children, relationship building, donation processing, fundraising.

  • Jardin de Milagros

    What: Jardin de Milagros is a ministry that supplies healthy, garden-fresh vegetables to those who don’t have enough to eat.

    Volunteer: Harvesting and planting vegetables in the fields.
